Do swansea ever play teams in the top half? Scraped home v Forest in the week, stuffed at Huddersfield today and their next 2 games? Coventry and the wurzels:emoticon-0138-think

Credit due to City who are 2nd highest scorers in the league. Only Brentford have netted more.

I've been banging on all season about how much better that constant top 6 has been as opposed to the rest of the division.

That was a fact until recently, but Norwich apart, all of a sudden they don't look so invincible. There's no doubt the quality is there, but have they got the guts to see it out as well?

Plenty of games left, and the next four teams below them, City, Boro, Stoke and that "****" team Barnsley <laugh> could have a big say in this.

    I probably did.

    They genuinely look good now.

Brentford were sh!t yesterday to add to the list.<laugh>

I definitely called Preston sh!t earlier in the season and they didnt let me down yesterday. Ched Evans was laughable he was so bad.<laugh>

It might be my mistake - the word might have been crap.......<laugh>

I'l go as far to say I'm as worried about Barnsley as much as anyone else at the moment.

    A long way to go.
We're still a couple wins off 6th and there are a number of teams close on our tails.
We know what colin can do.
We've got an inkling of what MM can do.
Comes down to who can hold their nerve and get a bit of luck.

Oddly, reading some posts on the swans board, they are still not convinced by plug and think they should be doing better than they are.<yikes>
What do they want? I've got a feeling that if they were 10 points clear at the top they still wouldn't be happy.

Agree with cautious optimism. In reality, we're within just one game of the top 6 given our next opponents. Not sure we can beat Bournemouth but there again I didn't expect us to be on a 7 game unbeaten run with a 5 game winning streak. When it comes down to a battle of nerves, I think MM is the master of this and if he can carry on transferring it into his players then we have a chance. Two months ago the furthest thing from my mind was a battle at the top end of the table.

As for Swansea, I don't understand the reaction of some of their fans. They've had an amazing season and still in a great position to take one of the top two places. I'm sure yesterday was just a blip. Unless it's the start of a major wobble <whistle>

Boro more so for me - they acquired some decent players in the window.

Hiya Robbie. Great win yesterday sir. Now do unto Swansea as you did unto Brentford. CCFC expects.
    Hope you're keeping well<ok>

yes it was very sweet considering most on our site were expecting the worst, hopefully we can do the Jacks over next week .
it looks like I could have a provisional date of 20th March (Phil's birthday) for the op, the hols to St Lucia have been put back until Nov, so March could be a goer.
I'm really struggling to walk more than about 100yds at the mo, so I can't wait to be sorted.

Well, I hope your provisional date comes to fruition and that you can then start the road to recovery. If you don't make St Lucia then St ***ans is very nice. Anyway, fingers crossed for you mate. <ok>

Good luck Robbie. Hope the op date firms up and in the meantime another 4.1 stuffing for the Jacks would be good. <whistle>

I posted this earlier on the CCFC Season thread but is probably more relevant on here, Bournemouth have appointed Jonathan Woodgate as manager until the end of the season.

Nigel Pearson looks likely to be appointed at the Wurzels.

Would have liked to have seen himstart today but maybe just the prospect of him taking over will give the Wurzles a bounce tomorrow. Certainly hope so.

Further news from Carrot Crunching Land, the Gas have confirmed Joey Barton appointment as chief hooligan...... sorry, manager.

Over there the jury is very much split. Over here, stand back and watch the fireworks. It won't be pretty. <yikes>

Will Tommy Robinson (given name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) be their newest season ticket holder? <whistle>
