We have a first team and a B team both of which need subs that adds up to well over 30 players 40 to take into account injuries
I know nothing at all about this B team. Will they just play friendlies or will they join a league. Probably too much to ask that they play in the same league as Colchester
The thing is Ron you have to remember we have a few players who are probably the wrong side 30, they are certainly not going to be able to play every game in the Championship. Especially when you think the season is starting 6 weeks late, we could gain a bit from the International breaks.
They could have avoided fixture congestion and reduced club costs by splitting the League into 2 (eg North and South). The winner of each gets promoted and the 2nd and 3rd in each go for play off place. The bottom one from each get relegated; the one or two above from each have play off for survival. As it is, they haven't done too badly getting the season going so soon (only lost a month) Still wondering what the B team will be doing for games

GA: "Building the squad with the four new young signings is a real positive. They're holding their own in training with the first team and don't be surprised to see one or two of them in the squad at some point soon. Sam Grace has done a brilliant job with them."
