Did we sell Amat or is he out in loan?

AMAT joined RAYO VALLECANO for an undisclosed fee, as Taff has correctly stated, deal done in August 2018, ending a five year stay with us, with 72 appearances, 59 which were starts, he was brought to the Liberty Stadium from Espanyol by Michael Laudrup in the summer of 2013. My how time has flown, and an era now ends...............<ok>

You can add Montero, Fer, and James to that list of 4 Taff, going to be another brutal round if the Yanks get their way.....<ok>
quite a few of your players with contracts that expire in the summer. will get rid of a few high earners, but the bodies will need replacing.
the high earners out on loan haven't been pulling up trees, so you may be stuck with a few.

a few of your young guns will be attractive to other clubs. they should bring in decent money, but wont free up much in wages and again will need replacing.

we're in a much more fortunate position.....

…...we haven't got any players anyone wants.:emoticon-0138-think

nor manager

Going to be an interesting season for both clubs, both will be on parachute payments, both will need to make cuts to the wage bill, our Academy has been a life line, without it we would have gone out of business with the ridiculous transfer legacy of Jenkins............<ok>

NW is not my cup of tea for sure, think his ability to get clubs promoted is without question, but he is way out of his depth in the PL............<ok>

What's the point of appointing him to get anyone up when his track record of staying up is pretty abysmal , I could understand if the Club got rid of him if he won promotion (not something I would agree with unless it was by mutual consent), he should be relaxing now down the "bay"

I don't want to repeat and regurgitate what we've all (bar one or two) been saying all season but I will anyway! :emoticon-0119-puke:

Potter's performed miracles, not only with the threadbare squad and injuries but also handling the toxic conditions the club is being run under. If he stays I'm confident we can stay up at least, even with yet another impending player cull. Big "if" though.

The one thing we can look forward to is beating playing our neighbours <whistle>

Agree completely, but we will have some difficulty keeping Potter, being in the hands of foreign venture capitalists is not comfortable situation, such a volatile predicament at the minute, lets hope the cull is not to deep..............<ok>

I'd keep him , certainly if Mike returns to Holland as is the rumour

I thought Mike was staying

"Swansea City have triggered a clause in Mike van der Hoorn's contract which will keep him at Liberty Stadium until 2020.

The centre-back signed a three-year deal when he joined Swansea from Ajax which was set to expire this summer.

However, Swansea had the option to extend the contract by a further 12 months and they have taken that up."

Perhaps they triggered it so that they could command a transfer fee ........
