What Clear out OMG...You are really up to date on what is happening <doh> None of us knows what is happening behind closed doors and can only guess yes right guess.....We wanted a change and we are getting a change end of story....deal with it and wake up and smell the coffee and stop being like little girls.....We have had 5 pre season games with different players that potts wants to look at, The score does not matter at the end of the day....How a player reacts to potts instruction is the most important thing and i totally agree with potts that the players have reacted and done well and he is pleased....So am i...
I assume you watched the game today ?

Anyone else worried about the Sheffield Utd match ?
I fear it's gonna feel like season over before we even get started.

It's the same as the last few years. We're never prepared for the first part of the season and are then playing catch up. Sheff Utd will be a benchmark as it'll show us exactly where we are. I'm expecting a long journey home.

Just remember this, being relegated to the Championship was a great opportunity to reward the share holders, we had a poor squad in the PL, now we are left with the dregs literally, with the season starting next week, this boardroom are lining their pockets, what's the point of the parachute payments?..........................<ok>

I'm worried by Potters statement saying the players lack confidence ,already FFS we've heard that crap for the past 3 years all by different managers , annoyed in the way we've been ripped apart by the yanks and ****ing tamping that Jerkins is still screwing the Club over .

That's the part that worried me also. I don't read too much into pre season friendlies, but so many defeats is bound to have an effect.

Just wish he would come out and say what we have is simply not good enough and be blatantly honest, rather than spout blarney, everyone can see how bad some of these players are.

It could be embarrassing and may kick the arses of the board into action although there will be very little time left to sort it, we will be going into this game with the worst central 3 I have seen in a swans shirt since we were in L2. the slowest back 3 If we go with a 3. so all in all I am ****ting it about this game, my other worry is we are on tv not long after and will no doubt be a laughing stock. God help us.

It’s good that there are opposite views to the majority on here to help debate.
Myself, I am one of the worried ones. Since our players feeble showing in the catastrophic loss in the winner takes all match against Southampton it has been a long and painful summer for Swans fans.
We’ve seen our squad dismantled whilst fellow relegation strugglers Stoke and WBA boost theirs. In my opinion the first season after relegation is the best opportunity to bounce back, after that it gets harder and harder as the parachute payments dwindle
We have a young inexperienced (in the EPL) manager who has had little or no time to get a team together, whilst all the experienced players that are any good are leaving as fast as they can, seeing no ambition by the club for a promotion push.
The players that are left are either injured or ones that nobody wants.
We’ve had a pretty disastrous pre season culminating in that heavy defeat yesterday. Results do not matter in these matches some say. Maybe, but it’s certainly not good for moral with only a week before the first league game.
During the next week it’s likely that more players will leave, so how can the manager put together a winning team. With quality incomings unlikely he’s got an almost impossible task.
