From what he said I think he intends building the squad from scratch. This is the right way to go but I just hope he's given the time by the owners and the fans keep their patience.
We haven't got time to start from scratch or we will be in l2 before you know it. all we are signing is more players for the academy, I don't care what anyone says the kids will not keep us in this league, it is to difficult and physical. patience for me is running thin, not with him but the lack of activity and piss poor activity in the 5 or so windows since the money grabbing ****ers are here. I guarantee if we struggle early on the fans will turn, not on Potter but the board and big nose. rightly or wrongly who can blame them for what these people are doing to our club. From what he said I think he intends building the squad from scratch. Still a lot of big money earners to get off the books to plug this year's £40M shortfall. From what he said I think he intends building the squad from scratch. This is the right way to go but I just hope he's given the time by the owners and the fans keep their patience.
And if you made that decision, you'd go bust..........I wish i was the boss as nobody who has two or more years on their contract would be going anywhere for any price ...
If that's what you want to believe........Disagree we have plenty of money.....We have not spent that much for the last 3 or 4 seasons. We made a profit and we were relegated.....Money is not an issue and we should be spending a lot more of what we have.....We could have stayed up easily if the yanks opened their wallets wider...
Dai....this is self-delusion. You lost money at the operational level and plugged the gap with transfer profits. Granted, due to deprecation, you may have a bit of cash but a has been said, you have a £40m. drop in income to face. If costs don't come down by this amount, your operational losses will increase….. and you'll have a hell of a job to make transfer profits to compensate.Disagree we have plenty of money.....We have not spent that much for the last 3 or 4 seasons. The maths will stack up Phil.I think with the Sales that have already gone through we are at a £22 Million Black hole currently, and this will drop substantially once the Sale of Bony, J Ayew, A Ayew, and Mawson are finalised, we should be in Surplus with other Sales on the cards too, and I fully expect us to start incoming transfer in the next few weeks, but yes you are correct, Dai is delusional............![]()
Give over we have made a shed full of money and our main problem now is that we are more concerned about making as much money as we can at the detriment of our progression to finish as high as we possibly can....Instead of making the club better we would sell our best players for profit and recruit mostly rubbish as replacements........If any club want to do good then you have to spend money and we are lacking big time in that department and it shows and we have finally and deservedly been relegated after scraping home for a number of season......you have to speculate to accumulate to stay in the top league and we never heeded the countless warnings from previous seasons........We have money.
I tend do agree, is it right he gets band for having that view, is it racist, not sure it is and 12 months seems extremely heavy, when you see nations fined pence for constant racist chanting.Well that's a strange one, was he stating the truth? All our African players are buggering off, except for J Ayew, I'm well pleased they are too, nothing but dross.
France on the other hand seem to be doing well with players of African decent.........![]()
So I was in Nandos last night on Wind Street, and Jazz Richards was in there..........anyone know why he would be in Swansea ?
