Pablo Hernandez just scored for Leeds against the manager who took him there - Garry Monk!
Pablo could probably still do a job for us.

Possibly but he wasn't rated by a lot of the fans , well those that stand by me , sick note was the kindest title he was given but imo a very good player who had a good eye for a pass which led to some great attacking football, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhPablo Hernandez just scored for Leeds against the manager who took him there - Garry Monk!

| must admit I have never heard any comment regarding a players colour not down the Liberty , I'm not saying it's not happening but I've not heard it.Pablo was always on hand to step up even if he didn't always play at the top of his game. He sustained a lot of injuries too, like most quick off the mark players. But he was one of the most gifted players I've seen in a Swans shirt.
The problem so many fans had with him was down him being foreign. Pure and simple..
The same fans have made comments about almost all our imports:-
Either they are lazy or they can't be any good because they can't speak English. While players like Andre Ayew were condemned for being too honest when not diving in the penalty area others are called cheats for going down too easy.
Players who are routinely called lazy include Pablo, Michu, deGuzman (oh for their quality again), Bony, Gomis.
Problems with communication - Sousa, Laudrup, Guidolin, Fernandez, Ayew (?).
The moment a player is less than perfect their background is called into question. Last week it was, 'All the Black ******* are ******** useless. And the foreigners.' Whenever our performances have nosedived there has, from some quarters, been a marked increase in what can only be called racist comments.
This is becoming a serious problem that the club, in my experience, is ignoring.
ps
Gomis now 12 in 12 League games and 3 assists.
I used to hear the odd comment at the Vetch but not around me at the Liberty inside or outside the stadium. People seem to forget that it's only the last 30 years or so that the large influx of immigrants has taken place Whilst racism is still about, as we've got more used to people from different ethnic groups it has ,thankfully, declined and over time will continue to do so. I've moved seat twice in the last five seasons.| must admit I have never heard any comment regarding a players colour not down the Liberty , I'm not saying it's not happening but I've not heard it.

Cheers for posting, the bigger problem then is the stewards perhaps reporting them for not doing what they're paid to do ,I wouldn't hold my breathe thoughI've moved seat twice in the last five seasons.
Three people left the area I sit in because 2 fans were constantly making comments and the stewards don't want to know.
If it carries on this season there will be fights.
I think it's brewing and it's not going to be pleasant , there's a lot more fans talking about what's going on in the "background " than what's happening on the pitchI think it could get ugly on Saturday if Bournemouth go 2 up.....
