I hope today's result won't be used by the owners / board to get out of team strengthening.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Although Clement has stated in the post match press conference today that, he wants to strengthen. Hopefully the board will back him because I think he's a really good coach.
His tactical nous is right up there. He's been spot on so far bar the last 15-20mins v Utd when he decided to twist and go for something (fully understandable and justified).
Surely the Yanks must be sitting there thinking that with 2-3 quality signings, he could do something special over the next few years?
Then again, all they care about is their $$$$$.
