Nah, transfer windows for us mean a chance to make money at detriment to the squad.

We should walk away from the deal. He's hardly played for the last two seasons and should be driving down the M5 and banging on our door to play.

Llorente will purely be a sub at Chelsea. Last season showed he needs regular football to be at his best. It all depends now whether he wants to play football or count cash.

Come on though - he's already earning more money than most of us could ever dream of.

That's not how we work though is it ?
They'll be hoping to offer Bony half (at max) of what we were paying Sigurdsson. Another saving.
It's like when someone leaves a job, and the company then offers the same job, but at a much lower salary. I've worked for a few companies who do that.

Then hell run his contract down at Man City and go for free eventually asking for big wages like a Gomis deal. The only thing we have going for us is Bony is desperate for playing time and might bend

I said it from the start, but there were some on here who said we need this and their investment. You could see through them from the start. They haven't invested a penny and will never invest a penny. when the board sold out they signed the death warrant of the club and made sure that the Yanks would become richer at the expense of SCFC. Still I agree one day we will get our club back, in what state it will be I wonder.

Maybe they need the stadium first to run up more profit / debt here before they pissoff ? I bet they couldnt believe their luck at the bonus bucks when we stayed up by the skin of our teeth ?
The only way to redeem themselves would beto dip onto thier own pockets now and supply players that are so good nobody expected it from them ! Odds on that happening ?

I actually would have taken Remy on loan , but apparently you can only loan one player per Premier League club I think . I suppose we could buy him .

Is he desperate ? who knows what's the bigger draw playing or money and in my experience it's the money . As so many keep repeating " well you can't blame him ----------- for making another few million on top of the already few million he has , you can fill in your own names .it applies to nearly all of them
