Looked like about 7000 to me, west stand was packed while the east stand was part full, good game yesterday, my MOTM was Routledge who looked like a new signing, very impressed with his roll at no 10 ..............<ok>

I thought Ayew tried hard yesterday, but didn't think he played that well. Just thought on times he holds on to the ball to long and slows our attack down. But wouldn't I e a nice problem to have, Even if Ayew is playing well, he may have dips in form, injuries suspensions. I think Abrahams could do what Ayew did yesterday easily, plus he is more likely to nick you a goal than Ayew.

Ayew for me is a very hard worker, and is great as pressing and closing down the opposition. However, I don't see any real creative quality in him, whether setting goals up or shooting at goal.

He's like a wing back.

The maths

£15.5m (original cost) + £13m (current value) = £28.5m total transfer fees

£28.5m - £25m (we sold him for) = £3.5m net transfer fees

The question the board has to answer is: Is Bony worth £3.5m?

If reports are true we'll have to be dumber than plankton not to at least put a bid to effectively buy him for £3.5m net.

A leftfield look at this is that we are the only club on the planet who can get a £10m discount on Bony, the maths only works for us.

Yes!

The thing for me valley is if Bony comes back and starts scoring like crazy again ( which I think he will ) , we can sell him off to another top spending club .

Disagree. If this were to happen, we won't be in a mess next year when Abraham goes back to Chelsea and Llorente leaves/retires.

If we sign Bony and his form returns, we should keep him for 2-3 seasons. We need some stability upfront.

Is it win, win though? We'd be potentially losing 3 strikers all at once with that scenario.

CLOSE ON GYLFI

Ronald Koeman says Everton are “close” to completing a deal for Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Iceland international has been linked with a move to Goodison Park all summer, with both the Toffees and Leicester having had £40m bids rejected by Swansea, who value the player at £50m.

"Everybody knows we are looking for three more players - a left centre-back, a left full-back, a player who can play out of both positions, a winger and a striker and that's the picture, what the best is for our team and we will see what we can do," Koeman told Sky Sports News.

"We are close [on Sigurdsson], we have to wait. But still, the deal is not done."
