I think it is inevitable and I reckon both to Spurs, thought Siggy would have known better and would also advised Mawson. He will be good enough, but will spend then next season or so playing in the league cup and Fa cup if he is lucky, great for his development, but his bank balance will be better as will the Yanks. As for Siggy going back there as much as I love him not sure he will play regularly either. Cant see him displacing Ali or Erricson.

If they both go, that could be £60M.

With £60M of that we could buy back Sigurdsson. The money really seems pointless in all this. Who would we buy to replace him ? If he's worth £40M then I'd want a replacement worth £40M else we are weakening our team. Really nonsensical - the money means nothing.

I hope we are planning our squad without Gylfi and LLorente because we will be fcuked if we dont.....We now have our first £1m a month player well it works out £250k a month, and he not the first but i would like to know what wage he is on having a 4 year contract....Scary...Our wage bill must be massive

We'll if we generate £50-£60m, it could mean we will move for Badstuber to replace Alfie.

Not sure who we'd go for to replace Gylfi - just hope that Clement has someone in mind and the Yanks support his judgement

Apparently, 84% of turnover went on wages last season.
It will likely be a higher figure this season.
Unsustainable, and completely insane.

Yes that is what im saying. It is so scary what clubs have to pay for a player not counting wages and bonuses. The clubs in the lower leagues must find it impossible....I can see div1 and div2 ending up as part time within the next decade...

Arnor Gudjohnsen: Eidur Gudjohnsen's half-brother happy to join Swansea City.

Quite happy with this, the lad is only 16 and will join the U18's but hopefully he's inherited the family skills. Also hope this might have some impact on where Sygi's mindset is at....perhaps we're trying to really make the club even more of a "Family" for him :)

Express saying Llorente move to Chelsea virtually done. If this is so another striker must be our no one priority. Mind anybody who believes anything in any paper about any subject must be a sandwich short of a picnic.

It would be typical of us to sell our main striker and to have not lined up a replacement straight away.

What's the odds on us going into the new season without a number one up top. Unless Abraham will be our saviour. ;)

You have already got your main striker.... you're developing abrahams for us :p

Just think, Huw can bank another few million in the bank now

I'm expecting a big bid to come on from Chelsea for FL.
A bid,for a 32 year old,we will be unable to turn down.

Recognised the face - googled it, David D'Auria?
100% correct, he is putting on some good sessions with our sides. Be interesting to see how we go at GV this season. I am running the u19's in the welsh league so will be some good tests for us and the boys. Time to test my managerial skills.

I don't want them to go and don't want the money, but I fear it is inevitable, just hope we re invest into another decent striker and another AM player, Fer Is good but not enough class in and around the box.

Never, this wouldn't surprise me either or it will be a last minute buy at the end of August, having just let Baston go and now lloernte possibly on his way, we cannot start the season with Abraham and McBurnie. I cant help thinking if LLorente goes whether, we will see a certain Ivorian making a reappearance in a wans shirt.

Hope it goes well for you TLF <cheers>- future Swans Manager? <whistle>

To be honest, if take Wilf coming back - but he will need the "right" service, from out wide and also from a Gylfi type player, best of al Gylfi himself!
