Narsingh is ok, but when I have watched he is a bit of a headless chicken, I don't think he is an improvement on Routledge or Dyer come to that. PC would regularly play Routledge in his preferred formation with no place for Narsingh. I think wide players has been a big issue for us since we have been promoted and have struggled to find any quality. We need wingers at the club and quality ones as it gives PC the option to change how he plays. Does he play the formation he does because of the lack of quality out wide.
Surely Routledge has played 90% of his football out wide for us, he has played the odd game as a 10. I am still to be convinced with narsingh and I hope he proves me wrong, but I see him as bang average and will be on his way this time next year. But, you never know he may just come on. I would like to see him sold along with Montero and Barrow and 2 wingers brought it. Just my opinion but we need someone who can get the ball into Llorente, with a little quality. The only ones who did it last year were Olson, Gilfy and if I remember Carroll.Routledge is more a midfielder than a winger imo, he's a player more comfortable on the right of a diamond but not so much on the wing. Narsingh for me is the exact opposite, he's an out wide, run first pass second type of winger and he did seem to find it difficult to adapt to the introverted style demanded by Clement. I think he'll better with a pre-season worth of coaching under his belt. I hope so TLF because, as you say, we need quality wingers, adaptable ones who can thrive in any formation.
Anyone else hearing that we are about to have a double setback - Gylfi & Alfie on their way?
Not a case of a glass being half empty or half full.No . Is your glass half empty., But what will be will be. I don't think Routledge has the pace to go past a defender on the outside these days. Narsingh had the reputation of being a top provider and he did seem to have that in his locker in his first two games but then fell away.

My mate heard it from someone at the LibertyNo, where did you hear this?
I think it is inevitable and I reckon both to Spurs, thought Siggy would have known better and would also advised Mawson. He will be good enough, but will spend then next season or so playing in the league cup and Fa cup if he is lucky, great for his development, but his bank balance will be better as will the Yanks. As for Siggy going back there as much as I love him not sure he will play regularly either. Cant see him displacing Ali or Erricson.Anyone else hearing that we are about to have a double setback - Gylfi & Alfie on their way?
Great photo and memories TLF.anyone name many of these.
