5 I think it depends whether at his age, he wants to play football on a very good age and progress forward as he has done and maybe on to full international level or does he want to earn more money, sit on the bench and have to go backwards to go forwards. He just needs to talk to Siggy to turn Spurs down. I worry money may be more important than playing. If he waits there may well be a bigger pay day for him than Spurs.

'Spurs are surely a big enough Club, and can pay top wages.
Whether he wants to risk becoming a bench warmer is another matter.
Mawson will make the full England team, in my opinion, and he can achieve that by staying put.

I am not sure Spurs do pay at the very top, that's why the real top teams, in terms of wages are already touting their players. Obviously compared to us they do pay high, not sure they compete with Man Utd, Chelsea, City even Arsenal, which is where is see him ending up.

My honest answer is you take up the opportunity when it arises as you never know for certain whether you will get another one......But my selfish one would be to stay with us but i dont have the chance of a bigger wage and a better contract and a chance of European football....

Sign a 5 year contract with Spurs but put a clause that allows him to get immediately loaned back out to us for another 12 months.

Wouldn't it be great if he has the same impact that Borini did, only for a whole season. <cracker>

Nothing about it on BBC Wales Sport, but Walesonline think it's a done deal.

I'm hoping that he also can be as effective in the PL as Sinclair was in the Championship too.
Finally, it looks like we'll have 2 good strikers on our books.
Looking at some of his goals, I see Llorente and him linking up very well together, like Heskey and Owen did at Liverpool.
