What would you take for Llorente out of curiosity. I would like to keep him and would he want to go to Chelsea as a no.2 striker, but they have CL and a lot of wages.
We would have got good money, just no one will see it as it will be whipped away to USA land
I'm going to reserve judgement until the end of this window, but as it stands, they've only spent a £1m so far.
£30m would be a great deal considering his age. Hopefully, given that he's coming to the end of his career, he'll not want to finish it by being on the bench.
Keep Llorente and ditch the idea of a player who has not been wanted by 2 bigger clubs and has not played much over 3 years and invest in Llorente by giving him a good contract......He is worth 10 of Bony all day long...
He's been a very good player alongside Leon, but without Leon he's been poor. £10m was a good deal for him.
Or we could keep them all and stay in the PL = £100M
Valley players are much fitter and can play longer due to sports science and a 32 years old is not regarded as old today...
I have got a bad feeling about the coming season, the reason is when we have done well in the past the team has been hungry and wanting to improve and prove themselves. All I am seeing is flash players driving supercars on big contracts who know that if it all goes wrong they will be sold on for more wages and longer contracts.

The scenario you describe has surely been around for 20+ years.
Your right Newport...If you look at the squad we have today there wont be one player that will emulate Leon, Trundle, Tate, Monk and Ash in achieving Legend status. It is all about how much money they can get before they will sign for you...
