Spot on and what we all already knew unfortunately. "It is no compliment to Swansea that it already feels like years since they played in the Premier League" - I was thinking this yesterday, coincidentally. It feels like years rather than just last season.
Ah the man who speaks before engaging his brain!!!......I think you'll find that I criticised all those transfers before they were a done deal, so the hindsight bit is well off the mark old bean, matter of fact I stated that Clueless was not worth more than £5 Million, well before Jinx paid £16 Million, all there for you to check should you wish to, though I doubt you would be interested, your only here to Troll, that much we can all see, you sad little old fart............

Very good article, clearly some in the media are waking up to the **** we have in the club boardroom, very accurate also with pretty much everything covered...................
Far be it for me to defend your owners but it is a fact that your income fell by 60 million over the summer and you had the highest percentage of wages compared to income. it follows that your playing staff was the only place to go to cut costs. However, someone let your staff costs get out of kilter quite some time ago and it was a disaster waiting to happen. It is only exacerbated by the fact that operational losses/minimal profits have been bolstered by transfer profits since possibly, before you went to the Premiership. Now, you are stuck with cutting playing staff to balance income AND the continued need to create transfer profits. At the same time, balancing cashflow must be a nightmare with few assets. Landore might have cost a lot to create a first-class facility, but who locally would need such a place and be willing/able to pay the asking price? Therefore, that asset has limited value unless the land is well placed for other development.
Very good analysis Frankfurter. The collapse in income/revenue of that quantum means that the need for cost cutting is a no brainer. Yes the seeds for this were sown when payroll costs escalated - perhaps the Yanks should have stepped in and acted earlier. After all, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Companies are not known for their profligacy - they are known for cost control/cutting and ensuring that the Business thereafter spends its money ‘sensibly’. Some player acquisitions (player and transfer fee paid) could be argued to have failed that ‘test’.

Potter says if James does leave he expects it to be to Premier League club rather than Championship rival. 16 6:38 PM - Feb 17, 2019
