It was always expected, needs to be in the PL for the National team, doesn't deserve to end up in the Championship, Mawson maybe next, Mesa is signing for Sevilla for £8Million, plus £2Million add-ons, so he's almost off the books, Ki has gone (Thank Goodness), Bony I would love to see gone, his wage is ridiculous........
I would def get rid of Bony, A, Ayew, Carroll, Clucas. Just watched the Notts Cty v Coventry 2nd leg match, Coventry have some good kids that came through their academy, surely we must be looking at our academy instead of buying dross. Quote of the Century??: A statement on the club website from Kaplan and Levien said the pair "shoulder much of the responsibility" for the club's relegation. It added: "Our recruitment strategy hasn't been good enough, we all recognise that and the blame for it ultimately rests with ourselves." Wow, if they recognised that, why wasn't anything done about - how long have we, the fans, been saying that our recruitment has been an abject joke?
Until it's confirmed ,apart from Ki, no one is leaving and no one is coming in. It's all press speculation and having listened and read some pundit's comments they don't know their arse from their elbow.
http://sportslens.com/southampton-keen-on-alfie-mawson-everton-should-move-quickly/233268/ Mawson valued at £40m? He's not worth £5 million
TBH with you dragon i dont care what anybodies needs are, If anyone is under contract and we need them then the club must come first and we keep them....To let them leave then we have learned nothing and letting players rule the roost and that has been our downfall for a number of seasons......We must start putting ourselves first for a change if we are going to have a chance of a return to the premiership....
Surely not http://www.insidewalessport.co.uk/c...sea-city-goalkeeper-lukasz-fabianski-reports/ Next they will be after Joey.....
Would not be far for Fab to move now would it? Can see this happening unless there is some competition from established big clubs, Fab is one of the better PL keepers, his value will go up if there is a bidding war.................
We dont have to sell any of our players that we need especially key players like fab.......If we are suppose to be building a better team then you dont sell your best players at any price.....
Residential wise I can see the sense in it but from a football sense NO. Would he be better off in a promotion battle with us or a relegation fight with them and a relegation battle with Cardiff is the more likely of the two. If a big club came in for him it would make more sense unless he's just being signed as a bench warmer backup to the first choice.
Then again, if what you think turns out correct then moving back after next season would work well for him!!!
Do not sell anyone that can help us get back to the premiership......I't is a crazy idea to sell those of quality.....We have done that and look where we are...
Interesting read, but not sure how they came up with the numbers. There's a similar article on our squad. One player quoted as being worth £1M is out of contract and didn't play for us last season. Think is should have been £1. How much of this cash will be realised, and how much re-invested? You'll probably have a bigger budget than us to be fair. Suppose the manager needs sorting first. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...swansea-city-manager-transfer-window-14684104
Probably more so than would have been the case in previous seasons, given the transfer window opened last week and closes before the the first premier league game of the season and just after the first championship games.
It's looking like Potter is going to be appointed, if you believe the media!.......................... "No one has contacted me about Graham (Potter), so it's just speculation. I have not talked to Huw Jenkins (Swansea's chairman). - FK Ostersunds chairman Daniel Kindberg
