    Exeter and Nice are closer to London then they are to Hull and I'd guess to a young lad and his parents, London would appear a tad more attractive then Hull. If we were bidding that its, which is exactly my point.
    Ours came from Herefordshire, virtually under Brentford's nose, but is now plying his trade in That London.

    What, so because of our location we’d struggle to sign a player from London? Players like
    Reece Burke or Martin Samuelsen for example?

    Yes I do. There are always exceptions to the rule of course. There are also cases when a player wants to be out of the London area for a fresh start.
    In our 116 year history I'd guess the number of London/SE born youngsters we have signed from schoolboy age and brought on to become first team regulars is in single figures.

    If 'best run' is intended as 'lowest fixed costs' then maybe that's what the original comment meant.

    The problem there GLP is they were told a pack of lies... ex Premiership club, big ideas of getting back there as soon as possible...feel for Scott as well...

    It is also closer to Shrewsbury which is where Brentford picked up Andre Gray from.

    Fulham Cardiff 1 each. Should really be Fulham who get through, 10 points better than Cardiff and Swansea over the season.

    Cardiff have been excellent and should 4-1 up... no matter what happens the manager has done a great job with a team not expected to challenge..
