Agreed. Unfortunately they're on form and have no disappointment to get over as a consequence of missing out on automatic promotion.
Watford play some really nice stuff, this is the first game of theirs I've seen all season other than highlights and I must say I'm impressed by their creativity. I'd welcome them in the PL.
As a neutral, I would totally agree. But as a self-interested Saints fan, I'd rather the three weakest sides come up. So Hull and Palace please. And it's not just about the three relegation spots next season, it's also about competition in the transfer market.
I am sure a few years ago in the Championship we had a first half that was almost an hour. About 9 minutes were shown and another 5 added on for more stoppages. Might have been against Plymouth.
Yeah, it was Plymouth, I was at that game. Players were dropping like flies, I think Viafara lost a couple of teeth and a Plymouth player went off on a stretcher.
I've just rolled up at White Hart Lane, been listening to the scores come in through the radio......I'm so glad we're not in that league any more.
Today is bringing home that I never want to be in that league again! Was it fun...yes, is it totally nuts...yes!
I can't imagine the despair Hull fans are feeling. They should have sealed their promotion weeks ago, and as it stands they're heading into the playoffs in terrible form. I hate to take joy in this, but I really want to see Watford go up.
