Morgan is a cart horse, I know you have some misguided faith because he plays for Leicester, but the reality is he is ****. We as a side always did very well against Forest when he was in the side, 4 games 3 wins and 1 draw. He really isn't good enough, look forward to profiting against the big lumbering oaf soon
He is, he's the best centre half in this division. He's the best centre half I've seen for years, for us, which includes Michael Turner - who was also pretty damn good. Abdoulaye Faye rates him too, he's played with some fairly decent centre halves.
Based on having seen him play, yes, he's a cart horse. He certainly wouldn't feature in my top 10 Championship centre halves.
Abdoulaye Faye is hardly going to come out and say he is **** Plus as soon as you say he is as good as Franz Beckenbauer your whole post loses every ounce of credibility
He is, I'm sure most people that know anything about football would acknowledge he's nothing more than an average Championship defender. When there's players like Zat Knight, Curtis Davies, James Chester, Mark Hudson to name but a few far superior to Morgan.
We had Curtis Davies on loan here and apart from the game against you on his debut he was largely **** and has a massive ego too
Morgan is a decent centre half, but I expected Big Nige to sign someone a lot better than him considering he really knows a good CB when he sees one. Morgan is better than most CB's in this League but there is better. i.e. Curtis Davies, James Chester, Mark Hudson.
Morgan was the Championships best CB two seasons ago when Forest came 3rd. Last season he missed a few games through injury before signing for us and now he's captain and I couldn't be happier with his performances. He's been my MOTM in every game i've seen this season.
I've not seen enough of him to comment like that obviously. I have family who support Leicester and they haven't really mentioned him being the outstanding performer.
Last season after he signed it took him a while to get properly settled. He was in and out of the side and never had a consistent partner. Now he's top dog (like he was at Forest) and he's revels in it. He's been very good this season and I think Sky gave him MOTM against Blackpool, too.
I'll have to pay close attention to him when we play you at the KPS. It's always been a rival fixture for me due to family living there and supporting Leicester. I've been to near enough every Leicester vs. Hull game (recently obviously ) except the away fixture in our Promotion Season when we won 2 - 0. Was so gutted.
I hated that day. Was an absolutely **** game, looked more like two relegation sides rather than just one. I was sure you'd be beaten in the playoffs but I suppose that's the championship.
Yeah, I'd heard it was a scrappy game. Didn't we get a penalty or something? If I'm being honest, I didn't expect us to win the Play offs at all. It came as a surprise to the Entire Country
Yeah Paul Henderson saved it. I remember that day we was completely crap apart from Henderson. I remember when Caleb Folan came on he looked massive and scored if i remember correctly
The only game against Hull i wont forget was when Joey Gudjonsson scored from the half way line. One of the best goals I have ever seen live
