The issue is, our predicament has been years in the making. I don't want us to go down, but unless something fundamentally changes, we'll be having the same conversations in 12 months time.
Commendable positivity there William and with your permission, I ll try and tap into it as my own has taken a battering. Of course, you're absolutely right that the fans try and get a siege mentality but it's difficult when as remote says, our inept hierarchy have brought this situation on.
If you can win against Oxford and Norwich, there's a very good chance you stay up. You have got to throw caution to the wind now in my humble opinion.....
Best penalty given all season. Take a look at the point Hull didn't get as a result of it being given.
If you look at it that way sure but it was a sort of decision we’d never get in a month of Sundays. Boro’s late penalty v Argyle was a joke as well but applying your well merited logic also stopped them getting a point
Wurzels let off by the other teams losing. They’re all but in the play offs. Where has Swansea’s surge come from?
Granted yes but he was an interim like Riza. If you remember we played them off the park in January. Their players are no great shakes but the interim has managed to get the best out of them consistently whereas after a brief honeymoon period Riza was incapable of getting the right team & formation.
If we lose our next 2 games then everyone else (except Coventry) still need to win at least one for us to miss out. ….. bound to happen!!!
It’s your turn. It is surely? Only problem for you lot though would be spending a season suffering endless defeats at Ashton Gate and on the road only to land back in the championship but with great memories of the occasional albeit rare high day (whilst we’re struggling to scrape a draw at Stevenage)
To be fair, I fancy your chances in the playoffs... No one in there to really fear now Leeds and Burnley are sorted... (Sorry Robbie, no offence meant ). Despite us losing to the Blades we were actually the better team for decent portions of the game and their goals both owed themselves to little bits of luck... They really weren't any great shakes. I just can't see Lansdowne releasing the purse strings to the tune of about £100 million to try help keep you up
