Not really, just trying to balance my views at the moment. Seem to be playing reasonably well but lack of goals is a worry. As is trying to defend a 1-0 lead away from home with some questionable substitutions.
Were fortunate really that we were playing Sunderland whom were pretty poor up top. Their 37000 fans must have been puzzled by Mowbrays set up as we had so much ball in space first half, and only started playing once we scored but were impotent even with all our attacking options bizarrely benched.
Surely B'ham must come up with a penalty soon? Stoke living on borrowed time (and money, I guess) too.
I've read various articles/blogs etc recently that suggest Huddersfield, Wigan, Stoke, Bristol City, Reading and Birmingham are all being seriously looked at by the EFL regarding breaches of the sustainablity rules amongst other matters. On the flip side, Gerrard's sacking and Unai Emery's appointment and success was vital to prevent Villa coming down to face the EFL music - must say he made a great start today.
Wow, I'd be surprised if they went for him but good luck to the guy if he is offered it and takes it... I know Southampton aren't the biggest of clubs but they've been a top flight team pretty consistently for many a year now...
Oh FFS!! I’m always one step behind on this site hahaha I’m doing ok cling, slight issue with a knee but not much. I AM enjoying the footy at the mo!! I’m pretty confident we have enough to avoid the drop, unless we sell Gyokeres in Jan, just like we did with Jutkeiwitz before.
Glad to hear you're ok. Hope the knee starts behaving soon. Yep, your biggest battle will be keeping hold of Gyokeres. About 80% of the clubs in the Championship looking for a striker along with quite a number of Prem clubs. If he stays, chance of top 6?
