Very difficult to see how we make this switch permenent when he is so missed in midfield.

 

You think we'll buy a CB or maybe 2 in Jan?

The lad fab is doing all you can ask of him at CB but our situation needs addressing imo or we could fall short this year.

And I agree with you. I would prefer Fab back in the midfield not just because he’s so good defensively, but his passing is also very good.

Unfortunately, we won’t see this happening until next season unless we bring in 2 CB’s in January (which won’t happen).

At the same time, let’s not downplay his performances at CB. He’s been brilliant.

 

I think the opposition have helped Fabinho. Playing it in the ground favours Fabinho. I'd be getting my team to bombard him with crosses and target his weakest spot, that's just not happened. They've tried to target his lack of pace instead.

Not taking anything away from Fabinho though, he's been fantastic. Definitely better at DCM though.

 

Fabs been brilliant filling in, and yes he and we'd be better off with him as dm... Why's this even a debate.

To be fair he’s 11th. There are 19 other clubs with minimum 2 CBs each. Say as a minimum there are therefor 40 CBs and he’s better than 29 of them. I’d imagine he prob has a higher success than Gomez does
