Got draw written all over it. I can see Barca getting 4 in 90 minutes, but I can also see PSG scoring. Barca wont get 6.
They have got it all wrong. Why are they going to be there early as the team have done nothing to encourage their support? People can't be expected to get behind the team until they have done something to warrant them flexing their vocal chords.
I suspect we'd turn up and make a fair bit of noise if we'd made the last 16 in the Champions League.
No. We would sit and demand to be entertained before the team were deemed worthy of getting behind. Do you think our fans would turn up 7 or 8 hours early for a midweek game and make a noise like they will? Amazing they can produce an atmosphere anyway, pitch miles away from the stand, high roofs so the noise drifts out...Maybe it is because a lot of people open their mouths. Interesting to see Napoli's chairman's plans for a new stadium. Can't see that coming to fruition. http://www.italy24.ilsole24ore.com/...old-and-new-stadium--104026.php?uuid=ADDyWAVB
I've read a lot about his plans for a new stadium but that's the first time I've seen a figure of 20k mentioned. I suspect they will go for a smaller capacity than San Paulo but 20k would be ridiculous, they got 60k in Serie C, so I suspect here he is strong-arming the council. It's the same old issue with only Juve and now Udinese owning their own grounds and using them 7 days a week and keeping the money, instead of paying the council to use it once a fortnight. Roma finally got approval for their new self-owned ground this week but that was 6 years of work and 60m euros down the line, so Napoli will be some way off: http://www.stadiodellaroma.com/en
They average about 36,000. He could be angling to put the money up required for a 20,000 stadium and trying to get the council to fund the balance required for a 40,000 one.
As it said in article about Napoli, there can't be any other stadium which when only half full has the atmosphere generated by their fans.
Realism is negativity? How dare anyone ever say anything about anything to do with Hull in less than eulogistic terms. If you come across any other teams fans commenting about the fabulous atmosphere at the .KC and how they wish theirs was as good let me know.
I imagine that most people can work out what Derby della Sud means. And if they can call it El Clasico...
