Well obviously I'm not saying BBC should hand out the punishment but UEFA should.

We cannot let this behaviour ruin the beautiful game*.

I heard the actual match was far from beautiful but you get the point

Based on the views of people who have complained? Really? Should there not be a commissioner or whatever in attendance to say whether there was behaviour worthy of punishment or shall we just leave it up to the viewing public?

Based on the video / audio evidence.

Kicking them out of Europe would send a clear message to the idiots singing.

I'm pretty sure they'll look at the evidence and make a judgement rather than listen to a few people sending e-mails to the BBC. Oh and i don't think any club has ever been kicked out of europe for its fans singing songs before.

Well of course they will, are you really that dim?

The emails and complaints are only highlighting the matter to the BBC who will in turn pass over evidence to UEFA.

All the more reason to do it. One of the clubs involved has been fined before for their behaviour and that obviously had no effect.

Kick them out and we'll see how their behaviour changes.

Or do you believe a £30k fine will do?

Ooh Ahh up the Ra was on all night

not really sectarian though is it?

only rangers songs are sectarian, "up to our knees in fenien blood" etc such is the hatred that support live off

rangers songs are actively sectarian and racist, no celtic songs are like this, if up the ra offends you thats your problem im afraid.

Why bother sending e-mails to the Bitterly Biased Catholics? Surely such a crooked organisation will ignore any e-mails from The People ?

im not saying that all celtic fans are saints and all rangers fans are scum

but its a simple fact that the vast majority of brainless scum animals in this country support rangers, thats just the way it is.

Not dim at all Medro - though I do wonder about that having embarked on a conversation with you.
The e-mails are purely tit for tat and you know it (oh and by the way i didn't agree with Celtic fans reporting things when it was Rangers involved either)
Lots of clubs have been fined more than once for the behaviour of their fans and for far worse things than singing - why should Celtic be treated differently over songs?
A fine is sufficient - as it was for you lot.
