    Never been to the City Ground but the rivalry was fierce at Anfield.

    Notts Forest got promoted in 77 and won the league in 78, an amazing achievement. Cloughie was a great manager always good for a sound bite as well.

    Notts = Nottinhamshire

    Nottm = Nottingham

    They are called Nottingham Forest; aka Nottm Forest.

    Well I've been around a long while and I've never heard them referred to as Nottm Forest. How do you even say that?

    When in Nottm it's Nottm, when in Liverpool it's Notts.

    You are right, the county (Nottinghamshire) is Notts. But that isn't Forest's name. Its Nottingham Forest, shortened to Nottm Forest but still pronounced Nottingham Forest. Feel free to google it fella's :)

    On your logic, how would you pronounce Utd?
