    Dortmund let him go when he was young for being too small and weak. Bought him back for around £12m last summer. We are a worlds apart from Dortmund and the best Germans stay in Germany, no chance, for anyone.

    I'd really like to see Dortmund win this one, just so there's the perfect ending for their fairy tale journey so far. This team was on the verge of Bankruptcy not long ago and here they are competing in the finals of the biggest club competition. What a transformation and they did it without the help of some oil goon splashing money off his pockets. As football fan, nothing but respect for them.

    Also this win would mean a sucker punch for Bayern, for their dirty ways of trying to dominate the league. They're known for poaching talents off rivals, not just strengthening their own team, but to also directly weaken their direct rivals. The Gotze transfer was an absolute shocker. Not really because he opted to join a direct rivals, but the timing of it. Right before a Semi final!

    That's just the worst form a mercenary. Even if he had hopes of joining them, he could have stalled talks alteast till finals are over. But now Bayern have conveniently made him unavilable for the finals and its a shame a player would do such a betrayal to his fans and team.
