Ha. Just wondering how many replies I can get from someone who has to get up early tomorrow? Who is being reeled in here exactly?
But I really do need to go to bed so have a good one Saints. Love this one. And always remember love the badger.
Anyone else see that number 19 for Dortmund.......he was wearing black boots & I **** you not, they looked so out of place. Times have officially changed.
I mentioned this the other week. Black boots look distinctly odd these days because we've got so used to big flourescent feet. The funny thing is, when Alan Ball started to wear white boots, I don't remember his feet looking any bigger. When Beckham started wearing white boots he looked like he had clown shoes on. Now the multi-colour big feet look is absolutely the thing. I love the yellow or red boots Saints players wear.
So what's with the wall-to-wall Jermaine Jenus then..? BBC's MOTD2 and MOTD2 Extra had him on, and now he's on ITV's Champions League prog. Actually, he's pretty good with his opinions [in my opinion]. I especially liked the way he expressed his opinion of ManU the other day. Still work to do. That's been around the media since.
A bittersweet experience for me watching the CL. I want English clubs to do well, but, with the money earned from doing well they buy Saints players. This means that Saints will always be kept down by clubs who do well in the CL. So.
He's not the only one among current or recent players. Gary Neville is excellent, and I was very pleasantly surprised by Rio Ferdinand at the World Cup.
Fingers crossed. The thing is you actually 'have' to qualify to keep the players, otherwise they bugger off.
Yeah, I knew about how good Neville is, and Rio is fine too. But I've only just noticed Jermaine pop out of the woodwork, and he came out as a fully formed pundit.
If I may just track back a bit...Hajduk Split lost the Europa league playoff match against Dnipro. But in the away game, the performance of Hajduk's goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic (recently earned a call up for Croatia) was absolutely world class. Dnipro besieged Hajduk's goal, made 28 attempts on goal (15 on target), and managed to win 2:1 only because of Kalinic's heroics. Worth to watch, surely a keeper Saints might bring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0lULhrz4XY
Great win for Everton tonight!!! As I haven't got an axe to grind with them I hope they go all the way and lift the trophy!!!! Lots of Sunday afternoon fixtures for them. Also have a feeling Arsenal will drop into the Europa League as well. If that happens they need to take a leaf out of Chelsea's book and go for it!!!
They gave them this sort of hard time. Time to kick them out of the tournament: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29263340
Dreadful not only that they can think like that, but that they are unafraid to voice it. Our police would have been in their like a shot.
