For me: 1.FC Basel - they are pants despite owning Utd 2.Bayer Leverkusen - Again they are not a great side and we should deal with them 3. Lyon - Decent team but nice and close geographicaly and i think we are of a better quality 4. Zenit St Petersburg - Should beat them no problem but don't fancie the trip to russia as this may affect our league form 5. CSKA Moscow - Pretty good team but again don't want the russia effect 6. AC Milan - Are a better team this year than last year - i still think we have the upper hand but would be a tighter game - they did ok against Barca 7. Napoli - I think they are the underdog team that will do the best this CL campign and would really rather not meet them just yet I expect us to get AC Milan or Napoli as UEFA don't have the opportunity to put us up against Barca just yet (don't worry we will get them in the QF). But bring on the easy draw - i think its about time we get a nice easy run to the CL Final
2 difficult draws in a row, first Barca and now a rejuvinated AC. If we keep RVP fit by then, we have a good chance! Also Wilshere should be back by then and who knows, we might buy someone new in Jan...
I expect us to beat Milan and get Barca in the next round. Chelsea vs Napoli will be a very interestign game. Both Spanish sides have fairly straightforward games (suprise suprise). Somethign good to come of the draw is if we do go through we ill have a chance to possibly play Inter, Marseille, Zenit or Benfica - all teams we can beat and progress. Can't wait for the games - they should be good ones - Arsenal Milan was always gonna happen.
I agree! Has to be said that Arsenal really do get the ****ty end of the stick with the Champs league draws, however I honestly think the tie is winnable. Its difficult for sure but for me there is a chance!
