Champions League Draw/We Got Bayern Munich.

Man Utd are out!

 

Anyways, looks like I'm going to be traveling to Munich for this one, :-D.

 

Its the team i wanted to avoid.

My fiance's brother is a Bayern Season ticket holder - he seems unpleasantly confident.

 

All the ties are exactly the same as they were in rehearsals yesterday

But in all fairness, you're home form in Europe recently hasn't been something to fear, OT isn't a fort when it comes to Europe, at least for now.

Celtic v Juventus
Arsenal v Bayern Munich

Valencia v Paris St Germain
Porto v Malaga

At least United are going out. Barcelona playing Milan will see a big team go out too. The odds of Juventus and Dortmund winning this tournament are going up. However, there will be 3 beatable quarter finalists, so if we somehow manage to get past Bayern, there is a glimmer of hope.

 

One game at a time, no point in making all these permutations, let's just see what happens with Munich, and if we beat them, then we can discuss future permutations, the only permutation right now is we either beat or lose to Bayern.

 

Dortmund got a very tough tie there, Shakhtar are no mugs.

 

It's actually an exciting Champions league draw. At least a few big boys will be going out next round. Let's hope it's not us!

 

We will be pressure right off playing at home. If we manage a clean sheet at home, then we'll have a good chance to progress.

 

You guys obviously didn't fancy the Europa League after it was too strong for you last year. Where are you seeing Spurs fans celebrating your draw by the way?

At least theres no chance of us being knocked out by Utd for another year..

 

Tough draw but could have been both worse and easier - it's nice to see Man U get a difficult draw for once but I'm focusing on Arsenal. I think we have a 50-50 chance if we sign in Jan and sort our **** out. We need to build some momentum and ensure that regardless of the result it doesn't derail our season/league campaign.
