Champions League draw 2017/18

Last year when the RS were on the cusp of winning 2 cups they said they valued trophies over coming 4th. No question. Trophies are trophies. As it happened they not only flopped the 2 finals but missed the 4th and the CL and came 7th. This year they flopped the domestic cups they were in and lo and behold the 4th place has now become paramount to their progress.

And to make their delusion even more striking, they are saying that the 4th place is better than winning trophies because with the CL qualifier they have qualified for will allow them to recruit better players so that they can later ...win trophies.

You just couldn't make it up.
