Let's hope all the Champions League dropouts are eliminated early in the Round of 32 in the Europa League. To my mind it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when a dropout somehow wins the Europa. Would much prefer Spurs or Liverpool win it than United or Arsenal (they are not going to beat Olympiakos)

United out and why? Van Gaal the muppet has off-loaded Welbeck, Hernandez and James Wilson. To get back into the game against Wolfsburg he brought on Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Michael Carrick and Nick Powell. This just shows how much of a clown he's been with his squad. This is a sort of huge rookie mistake you wouldn't expect from a bloke off the street. He is very lucky Manchester United have rode their luck defensively. Because quite frankly what he's done with their squad, and what's been coached into the attacking players, is laughable. The bloke has spent an obscene amount of money. With the players he's had available and the money he's spent he should be top. But he isn't because of his own idiocy with his squad, it's the same reason he's gone out of the champions league.
Chelsea need to win tonight to qualify and so far are 1-0 up Arsenal winning 1-0 but need two clear goals to qualify. Good start.
