Is Arsene Wenger really serious about the CL this season? Why would he play his second choice keeper in Europe's premier competition? Tottenham fans will be over the moon should the Gooners finish bottom of that group. And the way they are performing it is merited.
Ugh! Just when we thought Chelsea were going to get stuffed, back they come with an equaliser. Vamos Porto!! Beat those cocky b*******!!
I can't believe Wenger rested Cech. What an absolutely hilariously ****e decision. Since when did a keeper need resting? Also, they had to win tonight. Wenger is his own worst enemy.
Must say, he has achieved a quite remarkable feat in his recent management history. He's made me agree with Piers Morgan about something.
We really need the English teams to buck up in the Champions League or it will only be 3 teams who qualify before much longer. It's hard enough as it is at the moment for Saints to qualify. Why are they all so crap now?
Man Utd winning 2-1 and City drawing 1-1. Can't stand either team but want them to win in the Champions League. Somebody's got to get out of their group surely.
Since Martial has arrived at ManU I've heard him being called several things, but the progression of his name amuses me. First it was pronounced mart-tee-aal, then it became a little softer. Alan Green this evening is calling him marsh-aal. At this rate, within a week or two he'll be Marshall and every commentator can go back to sleep.
This comment on the BBC live text: David Broome: Schneiderlin? Once again, what does he do? Totally anonymous virtually every game he plays.
I watched 30 seconds just now. The ball went back to a united CB and Schneiderlin made the same 45 degree angle into the space to the side of said CB, that I've Sen over the last 5-6 seasons. Perfect movement to be a good option. Still. He contributes nothing.
He has gone about his business quietly tbh and a DM can risk a 2nd yellow in the dying stages to preserve a 2 1 score line, very good signing imo.
