    And Martin O'Neill.

Are we limited to one answer each?

Is the queston about current EFL/EPL managers, or any season -- in which case:
    Ron Ashman
    Dave Stringer
    John Deehan
    Gary Megson
    Peter Grant
    Neil Adams
    Bryan Gunn

I actually meant current EPL and PL managers, but I see my post question didn’t make that clear!

So Phelan, Bruce, O’Neill, Mackay and the others are all correct, but from now on only currently managing managers.

Mark Robins, Russell Martin and Gary O’Neil all spot on.

I think I count three more (plus one on an arguable technicality)

    Steve Morison.

Is the "technicality" someone who managed the club and was registered as a player but never actually played?

[Edit} Or maybe someone who has been sacked during the season? In which case

    Paul Heckingbottom

Only looking for former players (not former managers (only)) of Norwich who are currently managing.

Heckingbottom doesn’t count as he is not currently managing.

Steve Morison is spot on. Two to go (plus one technicality). All three are seriously tricky to be honest.

I have some vague recollection that Daniel Farke (then aged 39) was registered as a player when he first took over?

Ged Brannan (came to us on loan in 1998).

    Rob Edwards ( Luton manager)

Brief loan spell in his playing days?

Did he play for Norwich? I did not know that! But no, he’s not currently managing so doesn’t count.

Well done on Rob Edwards and Ged Brannan (can’t say I remember the latter!!) Both spot on.

The final manager was on “the books” as a youth player, never played for the first team. I’ll confirm tomorrow if no-one gets it by then.

Can’t say I have heard that rumour about Farke and it seems unlikely as he hadn’t really played at any decent level or for a decade or so when he joined us. I vaguely recall that same rumour about Alec Neil though, because of course he was player-manager at the Accies immediately before he joined us.

    Liam Manning (Youth, 1999--2002)

He left us to go to Ipswich, according to Wikipedia

Paul Warne would seem to be a possibility, but I can't find anything to confirm it.
