    Was totally proud to be a Geordie yesterday. The game was terrific and we got a great (and right) result. I thought both teams played well, but our lot just had a bit more team ethic i think than cheslea. The ref had a good game calling the right fouls, while it looked biased to the home supporters each of thier bookings were warranted.

    Joey Barton and Jose Enrique (WE SIMPLY MUST KEEP THESE TWO) stood out for me and i thought Raylor had a good game. But the whole team played well and the youngens that came in should be incredibly proud of themselves.

    Finally our fans were brilliant again and some of the songs were class. Newcastle fans never cease to invent some corking anthems - absolute songsmiths

    Looking forward to Sunday now where i think it'll be a terrific atmosphere and hopefully a full house. A win would be nice.

    A good all round performance, glad to see we got stuck in with only 1 yellow card to their 5 or so!

    Can't wait for next week.

    Jonas definitely stood out again for me, as did Fergie! LuaLua and Sameobi had decent cameos too.
    Looking forward to next weeks match, should get the 3 points <ok>

    Jonas had another good game, do you reckon Partridge has threatened to sell him if he doesn't pick it up or something?!

    He always seems to improve when HBA is threatening to come into the team to be honest. He improved when HBA was given starts, then after he got injured Jonas dropped form a bit... then recently, with HBA returning to fitness, Jonas has improved again....
    Just a theory ha.

    I think Jonas is more worried about just getting a 1<star> rating off Tash than he is about Pards selling him.

    Did any of you who watched it on Sky notice him make a point to wave at the fans when he was subbed? Do you think his mate Jose has been telling him was is said on this forum? jajajaja
