Northolt and Swords No news but in answer to queries above. Northolt PM'd me to say he'd left on 23 December. Unresolvable dispute with site management. Left a forwarding address. Tried to persuade him to return but he was having none of it. Swords went missing a coupla three weeks before Northolt. Returned to post his surprise and dismay on my thread announcing Northolt's departure - then disappeared again. I'm sure that if we keep things fluent and interesting enough, they'll both look in and return to posting sooner or later. Hope so anyway.
I think he brings it on himself. My problem with CB is that whenever someone (ther than him) comes up with info he says they 'talk ####e'. Well, he has until the 31st of this month for Defoe to sign or we will all know who really talks ####e. 12 days to go (cannot wait)
Cerny and the board Just an observation. If this QPR board was to be personified by just one member, who would that be? Well, prior to his departure that would most certainly have been our Northolt. BUT who would it be these days? Not Goldie or me, that's for sure. We're more the gap-filling kind, mortar between the bricks (ooh pun!) if you like! These days it would be more like Eamon, Col or Nines maybe... BUT who'd rule CernyBerny out of the running as star of the show? Gets more responses than most. He can certainly take all the stick he gets. He asks for it. His best mates on here are invariably those who give him most agg: Swords, Col, Ellers - and now Bob. Soft spot for TBGWTDT too. He's no victim our CB, that's equally for sure!
I think CB has changed the meaning of 'Imminent' and 'Done Deal'. Maybe he should write his own dictionary of words and sayings?
