Now that the doc has signed and has been made our captain and will barring injuries be first choice at the heart of the defense that leads me to my next point will big dave get the nod along side him or will he take a punt on young stewart after his impressive performances towards the end of last season.
 
You could have had Garry Richards off us along with Oli <ok>

Oh no, I forgot unlike Oli, non league Luton beat you to hoof ball Richards <laugh>
 
About central defenders, I don't really think Stewart has done enough to warrant being first choice at the start of the season, but injuries, suspensions etc will inevitably happen so he'll get his chance.

About Luton, have they got some money all of a sudden? They've signed Richards, Rendell and also Danny Spiller, we can debate the quality of all three players but they're still pretty big signings nevertheless.

Not gone down to well in some quarters outside not606, do I give a 4x, not one bit. It's called a sense of humour, which is a dyeing breed these days mate.
 
would say stewart and doherty, that worked towards the end of last season. the other option everyone seems to forgotten about is of course LJ who i still think is a better centre back that winfield

agreed leon is by far better than winfield but its waddocks choice so we will have to wait and see.
 
Evening all

Reckon Johnson should get the nod through experience, but Big Dave is Wadds favourite.

Either way they will be fine in Div 2.

Have good feelings about this year.

Who's going to York?

on the 'other' board Rocky, am I allowed back?!

Am sure there are a few others on here who go on there - think JSWWFC does as well as a few others. Been some racist tossers on there. It's nicer in here. Just that the gasroom is busier and you hear stuff quicker. I don't tend to have too much time to get on forums so it's one or the other usually... will make this my first choice again now, if you will have me!
