I can understand it if things are being said that are illegal or likely to cause trouble in that area but in the case of the closed thread it appeared to be neither of those things.Disappointed that it was censored.

Just seen your post Dave and while I appreciate the delicacy of your positionI don't agree that there were two sides.Just a reasonable discussion.

CT, if you read through that thread it descended to a lot of name calling! It's a current issue of high emotion, I'm not willing to risk losing good football posters because of non football issues!

Dave, I accept your decision on this 100%.Just a shame if people have to take it to that level. Why,I can even put up with JWM,just about.

What Paul said in his last post was borderline illegal. Racism is illegal. Stating you want all the muslims in the world to die and calling them names is racist.

I don't want to fall out with anyone but this issue is so important and if it is felt this is a football forum then fair enough. I wish you all the best for the future but feel my time has come to an end on this forum. No hard feelings but life is more important than football.

Agreed Dave. I have opinions on the matter too, but you did the right thing. It is the people who can't differentiate between opinions/personal attacks that are at fault not really censorship.

Redruth, I would ask you not to do that mate.I know how important the issue is to you but after all it IS a football forum and we don't want to end up like the Ipswich board do we? I think if you quit then that is a little victory for these people.

Redruth speaking as an outsider I find you to be one of the most sincere posters on this forum and i would ask you to sleep on this overnight! I respect your views and I don't want you to leave over this <ok>

What is that supposed to mean?

Of course it is - just ask Fabrice Muamba or Styllian Petrov. Nothing will be resolved tonight, regardless of whatever people say on whatever thread. Apportioning blame before any is due, however, can be counter-productive.

Every single one of us has a life outside football - let us all be grateful for that and post any recriminations if and when they are appropriate.
Please?

That was actually shocking and sickening thing to say and saying that makes you no better. Sadly something like this always brings out the racists and idiots.

My sympathies to the families and friends of the victims though.

Redruth, here are the options!

1) You remain on this forum, continue posting, we all know and understand your opinions and we respect them!

2) You can leave this forum, in which case I will travel down the M5 and then the A38, I will find you, kiss you on the lips then make love to you!

Your choice my friend! ;)

As one of the people who took issue to your position Redruth I would say that I do respect your opinions, I was defending people I know personally where as I think you were talking about people in the abstract. I don't feel we have fallen out, I genuinely understand how you have gotten to your opinion.
Don't give up on this forum over this, as has been said before, changing yourself in any way because of terrorists is a victory for them.
