The songs they were taught are football songs ... What's the issue ? Does It not teach them English in a fun way? They needed to have English simplified ... Nowt wrong with that . It's not in line with a modern education - one we all had . But they take what they can get Because they can't afford it and charities are staffed by volunteers .
Ps l do find the thia tims thing embarrassing but it is a valid way for a volunteer group to use there time... As long as they don't teach them hatred 0r bigotry then it's all good.
He's happy his family's is happy and so is the club. What's the issue? The only people with an issue are Rangers fans and a few Celtic fans. It was well received in England.
The kids love It but they would love being taught any songs. Have you seen the videos of them in the classroom with Green Brigade banners on the walls covered in skulls? It would never happen in this country, for good reason. Why is it ok to do it in Thailand? At the end of the day it's no biggy but you must really be pretty ****ed in the head to go abroad and teach local kids your football teams songs.Unless, of course you are rather pished at the time.
He's being exploited ... If his family are happy with the club using their kids for pr then so be it but I think it's shameful that because the kid is disabled he gets "special" treatment ! Why ? Because they are playing on the fact he is "different". It's patronising.
But we have a first class education in this country ... Many clubs and club supported charities do similar work across the globe. No one bats and eye but in Scotland ...whoa betide someone teaches a kid a football song! ****in mope
I don't know any Rangers fans who have an issue with wee Jay. I know a lot of Celtic fans who have a big issue. In fact they have several and sell them outside train stations and such like.
Oh dear. Mibbe that's because only in Scotland you would get a football club who are followed by complete spanners and wear ra hoops
You're not comparing apples with apples ... We have a first education system that has a syllabus in place. Thai tims is a charity organisation ran by volunteers who asked for celtics support. You're pretty ****in dumb...
No they didn't Celtic offered them support after seeing videos of them singing Celtic songs. The actual charity, the good child foundation welcomes volunteers from all over the world. Yet there is only one team the sing songs about. Do you really think that none of those other lovely people don't support football teams? Away ye go ya daft ****. You know it's ****ing embarrassing, you have already admitted that. Stop being a Celtic apologist ffs.

How is it patronising? Stop being a grumpy bastard The boy gets to live out a dream ffs. Of course he's different. All press regarding him I have seen has been positive. It's no different than the club, and club, helping this less fortunate aMONG us. Is that patronising?
The Thai tins is FAR worse than Jay ffs. It's cringey pish. Was it Bertie Auld stood among them like a *****?
Of course it's patronising... Goal of the month award League medal Team talk No other kids get this treatment ... So they're patronising him because he's disabled.
He's had some amazing things happen to him ... But Celtic are milking it for all its worth. They may as well lean down and talk to him slowly and loudly.
