Still not convinced by Pukki. Ran through on goal at least three times last night, once he hit it right at the keeper and the others he never had a clue whether to shoot or pass and ultimately ended up wasting the opportunities.

Still, hopefully his two goals boost his confidence.

Quite pleased over all, players just back from break/world cup, no competitive/league games and up against team already into their season, new manager just in the door .... it had Artmedia Bratislava written all over it, so , job well done and onto the next qualifier. Speaking of which, seeing the teams that were playing in the qualifiers same time as us brought home - again - just how ridiculous it is that we have to play these games.

And the Celtic fans were great last night. Given that Murrayfield usually has the atmosphere of an Aberdonian funeral the fans did the club proud last night.

It was strange, you could actually hear the difference in the acoustics in the crowd noise.

2 things I noticed last night , the manager depends on the 2 centre defenders being his only defenders with no protection . How many players in the team are mainly one footed ( left foot ) Commons , Mulgrew , izzie, Mcgregor , Johannson and Henderson, we pass the ball much quicker than we did under Lennon . Thought Watt should have got the last 15 mins

I was thinking the same. We genuinely are a team of "left-footers" these days <whistle>

I didn't go but the couple of guys I've spoken to (my da, a mate and a guy in the office) all pretty much said that Murrayfield was a brilliant venue.

Play the national games and the cup finals there <ok>

    Hampden is hoaching.

Agree ... the SFA should get the **** out of Hampden and leave it to waste away with QP playing at it.

Hampden is the national stadium, it has a history for football and staged some of the biggest crowds Europe has ever seen.

It's not Hampden's fault that the SFA are so short-sighted when it came to redevelopment that they went with a 50,000 stadia.

I've never been to Murrayfield but I think Hampden has pretty decent facilities (certainly compared to the old Hampden).

    **** hampden...

It's not the stadium it was... no history. Get it to ****...

Take national team on tour around Scotland... pittodrie, tannadice, Easter road, tyncastle, ibrox n parkhead for qualifiers.

Other nations do without a national stadium.
