I've answered that in my op... There's a really good 1st 11 and probably a 2nd 11 that would Defo be good enough for a top 3 finish as a min.

Probably about 10 to cull and rest out on loan.

Celtic , imo, only need 3 signings for progress

    A striker better than griffiths

    A younger fitter commons type

    A versatile defender

Rangers , imp, are adding at least 6 players , but if ye end up in Europe , then you'd need to add another 2 to 3 on top of that... Especially centre backs .

You would do well to get a striker better than Griffiths. You will need a goal scorer of similar stature though. The fact Griffiths went through the last season without missing many games was a big plus for Celtic because currently they have no one that can step in and score the goals he scores.

A decent centre half is a must. Should be top priority tbh.

You have talent that's not been used in the middle of the park. A good left sided winger wouldn't go amiss.

Left back could prove an even bigger problem. Izzy has gone and, if CFC are true to form, Tierney may follow.

I agree with you Rangers need at least 6 quality signings but i think Celtic do to.

Rangers are already well into their transfer dealings. Celtic are currently doing not a lot of anything.

Hopefully a new manager is in within a week , 10 days tops

Simonovic will be the new CB ... Once he's over his injury

Yer probably right , as tierney will need back up , he'll not be sold just yet unless someone offers silly money

    3 is a minimum , but 6 would be good ...

Next season could be a belter ... Celtic Aberdeen hearts n Rangers , all likely to be in a position to take points off each other

Giving "Rangers" a lot of undue credit

Just now ... Maybe But based on what I've seen from them , they'll Defo beat premiership teams . I don't think they can be ignored and Celtic need to watch them and help out new manager identify targets that keep us the top side in Scotland .

And if they sign players like dorrans and Cummings , on top of the guy rossiter (that looks like great business) then , if they add the same level or above then they will be a team that will take points off the top 3 .

They are already capable of taking points off the top 3.

Seems you are buying the Hype, I'll put it bluntly, apart from Wallace I would not take any of the current Rangers team, none of them would get a game for Celtic at this time.

Maybe Rangers will add some quality in the close season but at present they have no better a squad than Hearts and we have a vastly superior squad to Hearts.

Incidentally Aldo, how come Rangers could not put out a full contingent of subs in the semi-final?

Because they have a very lean squad. Far too lean tbh. We were missing a 30 goal striker.O'Hoolligan and King were cup tied and we had a 17 year old on the bench.

Still managed to out play and ultimately defeat your vastly superior team though.

Think it's you that is believing the hype mate.<rofl>

A "very lean" squad? In other words Celtic have a far stronger squad with multiple players for each position. That's pretty much what I said at the start.

No it's not. You said in terms of quantity and QUALITY celtic have a vastly superior squad. While i agree that the quantity is there in the Celtic squad i don't honestly see the vastly superior quality and to be fair there has been very little evidence of it this season.

And btw i don't base my assertions on "the hype". I have watched nearly every game Rangers have played this season. I have also watched quite a few Celtic games. I am.commenting on what i have sèen and whilst Celtic are probably the better team.at the moment there is not a lot in it and there is certainly no vast gap between the two teams.
