Getting back to the statement, I appreciate that it isn't a rip roaring call to arms about integrity because it is focussing on the League trophy being presented. However, doesn't anyone think that the paragraph "Our guiding principle is that we will do what is in the best interests of Celtic Football Club and our supporters, consistent with upholding the interests and reputation of Scottish football." say a lot without saying much? For me it basically says Celtic's stance, while looking after self interest, will also uphold the integrity of football in Scotland, ie not standing by watching cheats prosper.
