Silly me, i've just realised why you did not know losing fans normally leave the ground after the final whistle. Just when exactly was the last time Killie lost a Cup final? Have you proof that the fans stayed on after the final whistle? And last week when Celtic clinched the SPL title at Rugby Park, did all of the Killie fans stay behind and applaud Celtic - The newly crowned Champions - or is that different? In actual fact so few Killie fans actually wanted to be there (in case Celtic did win the title) that huge numbers of extra tickets were given to Celtic fans. I'd have thought that a club such as Killie, with it's vast number of respectful, classy and dignified fans would have wanted the honour of bestowing their adulation and respect the way of Celtic. No? I thought so.
note: Please don't try the "wum" card just because your argument lies in tatters. It would be as embarrasing as your other risible attempts at a logical debate.
I was not referring to fans, I was referring to the players. And as for the reason why there were so few Killie fans there last week, I think you will find Killie fans have stayed away in droves in recent years when either you or the tax dodgers are in town, as they cannot be bothered with the hassle they get from their fans. The game in 2003 just after you had lost in Seville was the main catalyst for this IMO as their behaviour was absolutely disgusting after the game.
After Seville? What are you on about now? Shifting the golaposts to another topic now that your original one has been washed up like a dead sperm whale? I did not know Kilmarnock fans were on a jolly in Seville when Celtic lost to Porto (and stayed behind to applaud Celtic by the way) and were somehow assailed by angry vengeful Celtic fans. Or are you referring to Celtic fans pouring abuse on the Porto team after the match? (please say yes)
The Killie fans have stayed away in droves in recent years fullstop. A club that can take 16,000 to a cup final, a club that had an average crowd of over 11,000 in the late 90s now averages around 4500-5000 for home games except when we or Rangers come to town. Them's the facts. The crowd last Saturday was your largest home crowd of the season by 6,000 ffs. Your biggest home crowd outwith games against the "Old Scum" is less than 7,000 this season. I take it this because you find the behaviour of Motherwell, Aberdeen, Hearts, St Mirren, Dunfermline, Dundee Utd, Hibs, ICT and St Johnstone fans disgusting too?
I should add that measuring average crowd as a a proportion of ground capacity, Rugby Park is the emptiest stadium in the SPL. Damn them disgusting Ceptic fans
They stay at home and massge their sense of fair play and dignity until they have formed a large ball shaped bundle of sportsmanship which they can carry, like a badge of honour, to their next home game where they may get whipped to within an inch of their lives but still stay behind, like it was still the 1930s, and give a standing ovation to the winning team. Flat caps, Rattles and trophies made from cardboard are replete.
On behalf of the celtic family i would like to apologise. It appears that chelsea fans masquerading as celtic fans caused the damage, sorry.
