A few folk dismissed Jelavic when we were linked to him before Everton got him, mainly because he played in Scotland. I think Hooper looks good, would happily have him and one more.

Pmk,that sounds about right. A few tic fans have been stabbed,slashed and murdered outside those pubs,one was only 16.

Most of our fans thought spending £6m on a player in Scotland was stupid and he wouldn't be as good as he was up there. Proved wrong though happily. That doesn't mean that Hooper would automatically mirror Jelavic's success though.
All about style and does he fit into the system. Just look at Carroll, didn't fit, Moreintes didn't fit, Keane, but Torres did.
Yeah I know, I'm only saying don't dismiss him simply because he plays in what is seen as a sub-par league.
