Celtic are going for a clean sheets record again this season in the league. We've also conceded the least amount of goals in the league an average of 0.5 per game. Compare that to Southampton's 1.2 per game and I think we're doing fine without Jos "Beckenbauer" Hooiveld.
Jos talked a good game but like a drunken postman he always failed to deliver. He's found his level I suspect. Him and Danny Fox both. Good luck to them.
Danny Fox ****ing Danny Fox We'll sell you a full back who's better than him if you like - his name is Cha and he'd be right up your Hampshire street
Second best song for one of our right backs I can remember. Beaten of course by: Run down the wing like a Jackie McNamara Run down the wing like a Jackie McNamara Run down the wing like a Jackie McNamara Heeeee-eeeeey McNamara Aiiiiighht.
You are right about Foxy though, can't defend for toffees, we use his left foot for dead ball placement, Hoover does the rest 8 goals isn't bad for a defender.
Aye, no bad. Our current centre back has scored 9 this season mind you. Anyway, the undeniable fact is that Hooiveld was incapable of breaking into a Celtic team which was not exactly replete with quality defenders. When he did play he was useless (particularly in europe). He went out on loan to Copenhagen and they didn't want him either. If he has got better good on him but to be honest we don't miss him in the slightest. I suspect he will struggle in the EPL.
If Jos does indeed struggle, do you think the £90m that's just landed on our doormat, would help replace him?
Neither does Pud, that's why you are still here, that and the comedy value that you provide with your stupidity.
Agreed on that one. Just noticed this on another web site :- "Last night we went to the Players Awards dinner but unfortunately our friends were unable to go as their 8 year old son was admitted to hospital during the afternoon. They asked us if we could get Danny Fox, Ben's favourite player, to write a get well message, which we thought we would be able to do. When we were talking with Danny he said no problem and was delighted to write a message. When we explained the situation he was genuinely concerned and said if he can do anymore just let him know. Later in the evening we started talking to Danny again and he remembered our earlier conversation and again said he would like to help and prehaps visit Ben in hospital. He gave us his mobile number and after a few texts this morning Danny contacted our friends and arranged to visit Ben on Sunday. Much to everyones surprise Danny turned up this afternoon to see Ben together with Adam Lallana and a signed shirt. It really was a lovely thing for Danny to do; our friends are needless to say, very worried and Danny's and Adam's visit lifted everyones spirits. Ben is doing very well and hopefully everything is moving in the right direction." Just thought it was worth posting to show that our players do have caring side and are willing to try to help others. Top bloke Danny Fox!!
He definitely is a bit short on pace, he will do forus until we get someone better, Tevez, Ba, and the like will find him out I suspect. Pity you let one slip in today against Dundee had you down as a banker.
Scottish football you win a game the opposition is rubbish , we get beat !! Then We're rubbish . Celtic can't win the English have downgraded our game that much . Yet you watch Man utd today , 75000 that don't move or show any emotion until the most pathetic end end of season ,appreciation to crowd your likely to se. I got back from the Dundee, arsenal shirt , spurs shirt , man u shirt in the pub , deep down prefer if they all had hun shirts on !!! Scottish football is finished .
