Harry, I think Larkin comes across really well. I don't think it is spectacularly well written or anything but he gets his message across and tells a decent tale. I'm surprised to read your thoughts on him. Have you read or heard his stuff?
I knew him from a young age , he left school at a very young age , with no qualifications . Never known him to have a job , he basically got chased out of Edinburgh ended up in America then his uncle told us he had become an author !!! How We laughed at that , to be fair some of his stuff is well written other than the contents , which is just one lie after another lie . He did go 10 years without missing a game , and I do believe he was at Ibrox the day we got no tickets
He was yeah. He says he got a bit of a doing. I can't help but like him. Like I say, he comes across well.
I could have got Rangers end tickets that day but bottled out in the end and went to the reserve game at Celtic Park 13000 there and listened to it on the radio . The best part was the 'hail hail ' airoplane at Ibrox .
I fully expect you to go on and rip the pish out of any sentimentality shown on this thread then http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/245054-Ian-Redford-Found-Dead
