Billy, when one of Sport Capital's backers pulled out, wasn't it Haigh who sought out Cellino as a potential investor? (Although at the time this was dressed up as Cellino being there in an 'advisory capacity')

Billy gets a hard on for Haigh and won't have anything said against him. Billy has nailed his colors to Haigh from day-1, and even I believed Haigh to start with. I changed my views about him over a period of months because I'm not gullible and saw nothing he was doing which was useful for the club. All I saw was a bloke who loved to big himself up and we fans after so many years of pain latched onto him only to be let down yet again. Billy be man enough to admit you were wrong.

Basing it off the past and what he has done at Cagliari. The fact there has already been mass protests towards him and chants against his name, the controversy he brings, the amazing amount of lies he has already told which means he will continue in that vein I would assume, the overall extreme nature of Leeds United fans, the way fans reacted towards Bates. And then i also don't think Cellino will put any money into the playing staff whatsoever, it wouldn't surprise me if he backs out of buying Elland Road and Thorp Arch given the fact he is a downright liar, the constant changing of managers will cause instability and a slide down the football league.

Watched an interview on the BBC with an Italian sports reporter on Monday and they said just the opposite. Said he was mainly liked/loved by the fans, but because of his maverick attitude the people that didn't like him, really hated him, and were very vocal. But they were in the minority.

I heard that interview and it was encouraging. He won't be taken for a mug and has kept Cagliari in the top division despite the governing bodys best to get rid of them

It was and I suppose when Cellino thought about it he wondered why should he subsidise a twat like Haigh with his money and do the deal himself. can't blame him for that

Haigh isn't a Leeds fan and I saw that tweet but I would go as far as saying he isn't even a football fan.

Before that claim that he likes the coach, he said "he gave me no choice but to sack him. I want a coach not a manager" and a load of other ****e. Why do you ignore facts?

If Cellino buys Elland Road and Thorpe Arch and clears our debts our long term future and cash flow will improve beyond belief. Nobody wanted to deal with Bates and it seems nobody has the cash to fill the holes made by GFH rush this through before Cellino changes his mind.

Forget what a character he might be, he has the money and without it we might not have much of a club to support the way we are hemorrhaging money under GFH and IF we are still stuck with GFH at the end of this year don't expect to see Byram, Mowatt and Ross still with us.

Stability - We had more when Bates was here than what lays ahead under GFH

This is what is wrong with the world and why I hate people, so stupid that they idolise those with the most money despite the fact that 99% of them are utter ****s that would **** on you at the first opportunity to make a 5er.

Marko lets not aim such comments directly at people just because they have a difference in opinion to you.

You welcomed GFH in with open arms (because you hated Bates so much) so don't have a go at some people for accepting Cellino.

That's a pretty big minority to have walked away from supporting their club in the last few years...

If he loves his home town club so much and hasn't left it a desolate ruin and a shell of it's former self, why on earth is he selling?

Latest I've heard is he's hired a PR firm to go round social media and traditional media and sing his praises to minimize any backlash, and you gullible set of dumb ****s have fallen for it.

Calm down lads, we are all going to differ in opinions, we already know that!

But we are Leeds aint we? (yep even you TC) Lets try and remember that before throwing personal insults around. And if you cant handle it now, its probably time to give the forums a break because its going to get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better!

MOT.

Hmm the odd semblance of insulting behaviour creeping in. Where is MOT gone

Its a stressfull time and theres more than a few topics that are going to divide the board at the moment. We got to try and remember to not take others opinions as a personal insult and not throw our own back. I used to be one of the worst for it on the old 606 so know how easy it is to let emotions over run <ok>

As I said earlier, its going to get worse before it gets better IMO!

So what EXACTLY has Haigh done wrong? I get it ... he was wrong to boot Bates and his cronies out, he was wrong to shut down that loss making elephant called Yorkshire Radio, he was wrong to put £3.5m of his own money into the club when they needed it, he was wrong to give McCormack a new deal, he was wrong to reject bids for McCormack, he was wrong to put £1m into Leeds Ladies after Bates had cut all ties with that important side of the club, he was wrong to support McD with signings, he was wrong to support McD in sorting out TA and getting a scouting system back in place ... boy, this Haigh guy really is a fool, definitely not the kind of bloke we want at our club

If he stopped talking the talk, or actually talked the talk where required (fans forum etc) got the backing we need to substain staying a float then I'd be more than happy with him.

He's failed on the above. The things he has done for though does deserve praise, I just think from a business side of things the guy has failed big time. Well GFH has, and by association Haigh has also. Also whats all this about the scouse mafia having a look in? And people are attacking Cellinio, its not forgotten by me that Haigh brought them both to the door step.

Just my thoughts <ok>

Cellino blocked the sale by all accounts, I haven't seen one report saying it was Haigh? McDermott gave permission for Varney to join Blackburn leaving him out of the midweek match and Cellino blocked all sales or he requested GFH block all sales.

If Haigh is the man taking credit for all you say he did Billy then he must take the blame for saying money was available to the manager in January - LIE it wasn't. He must also take the blame for cancelling the deal for Barnes, he must also take the blame for allowing the deal to collapse. There are two sides to every coin and none of us know the whole truth because everyone involved is covering their own backs, filling their own pockets and not giving a genuine toss for any of the fans.

Haigh and co have done as well as they can with limited funds.

The things mentioned are good stuff but they made a rod for their own back in that first press conference.

No clarity and not much engagement
