According to the BBC, Cech is injured for up to 4 weeks and so he won't feature against us in a week and a halfs time. Although he isn't the player he once was I still rate him and I'm glad he's not playing!

May be a bit over the top, but I think Ashley cole should be shown what it's like to be shot in the face by an air rifle.

Thank goodness I choose Joe Hart for my fantasy football team! Good news for Norwich, but in all seriousness, and with whoever they have in goal, we are going to get THUMPED next weekend if our defence doesn't improve drastically!
They have hilario as back up, apparently isn't that good.
Also think it's a bit early to blame our defence. It was one game and the only thing that was of concern was de laet losing the ball and giving away a penalty.
In pre-season our defence performed well so I think it would take 2/3 bad defensive shows to start worrying about our defence and I don't think the Wigan game counts as one.
