Almost there. I really dont know how it will go tomorrow with so many new faces. Worries from pre-season were lack of goals and lack of convincing performances. I would settle for a draw.

Imo that's more a financial decision than anything else. It's said he's up there in the top weekly pay bracket thanks to Keane and for someone that is never a guaranteed starter, that's crazy. I'm by no way a big Anton fan, for me he makes far too many howlers but it appears he'll be 1st choice tomorrow and will certainly have my full support. Hope he has a blinder!

    Anton is better than Titus.

In my mind, FFH , sorry but yes. Bramble is an accident waiting to happen. Cnt jump without a looooooonnnnnggg run up. Cant tackle unless it is directly in front of him.

He is a bigger donkey than Nos, but less funny, less LUCKY.

    Thats my opinion.

I don't see Anton as a bad option at all, he did very well on several occasions usually against the better sides too. I just think Turner would give Caroll a much harder time, The problem with Turner is Suarez would make him look silly if he got 1 on 1 with him. Same with Bramble. The added speed Anton and Brown have could work to our advantage. I don't know who my prefered partnership is, I loved Mensah but at the end of last season he became a liability. Titus can be a calamity and Turner can be a donkey, Anton can lose concentration. I don't know too much about Brown but he has been there and done it....... The good thing is all joking aside we have 4 quality centre backs so if 1 is out of form we have others that can come in.

There is no way you can play Turner at present, because he is just not fit and would get caught out for his lack of pace. Bramble has also looked slow and unfit in pre-season...So for me it is a no-brainer to play Ferdinand and Brown in the middle.
