There's no "policy of shipping out the Spanish contingent". That's crazy. He's shipping out players who don't want to be here. If Chico and Amat didn't want to be here, they wouldn't have gone on the tour. Same as the rest of them. And Rangel is practically Welsh. You make it seem like Monk has some kind of racial prejudice against Spanish players. Monk has seen the positives that the club's link with Spanish connections and players has made in the past. He's played with Rangel, Bussy, Lopez and Gomez...Bessone can be listed too despite being Argentinian, same language. It's not a case of Monk just shipping out all the Spanish players. Canas and Pozuelo clearly can't work with Monk and will need to be moved on. Michu and Pablo both wanted out so they're going. Amat and Chico are working their asses off for Monk in America doing triple sessions every day on a gruelling pre-season tour. If they wanted out, they'd have raised their voices by now. Back on topic. I wouldn't take Caulker back. Will cost too much to not improve the squad.
Not as crazy as not playing them when we were down to the bare bones last season , but we got through it , more through luck than judgement though .
