34mph & I got one. Scrote hiding behind a bush with his car parked illegally, “Write your name on the card” Mr CheshireBen “Is that how you want me to refer to you?” Yes “What are you hoping to get out of today?” An early finish so I don’t have to rush home, crack on, Saturday. Two rooms running. 30 offenders in ours. If the same if the same in the other room that’s 60/ session. Three sessions a day.. £16,200. A cash cow. Rooms were £120 a day, I know because I rented one for a photography workshop. Someone is getting rich from them. Rant over,
If you drive at 70mph on an empty motorway in the early hours, they'll pull you over on the assumption you must be pissed.
I've been done twice in the space of a week in June for doing 35 in a 30. Once in Bradford and once in Keyingham on my birthday of all days. 10% plus 2 means I'm even more annoyed about it as I must have literally been on the line. I thought it was just 10%.
I did my last one online. Sat with laptop on my knee and a dodgy stream of a Man U game in the background with no sound on. Quite pleasant really. I just chirped in now and again to look like i was paying attention.
That “young flash lad” might have been me, I’ve attended the Preston Road course in a white DB9 convertible & a red Ferrari. **** em!!
If it makes you feel any better Den, a few years back I had to attend a speed awareness course and on the way there got done for speeding lol
I've been done twice for 34 in a 30 and both in the same ****ing place. Quite a long time apart, obviously, I'm not that daft.
Just thought others might want to know (I realise there is an easy way for me to avoid being caught speeding thanks…)
False number plates? I am about to book mine as well. 36 in a 30. The ****s!
False number plates? I am about to book mine as well. 36 in a 30. The ****s!
I’ll wave at you on the camera! Remember they don’t all cost the same. Shop around
There was an article in the HDM about three years ago, interviewing a female officer involved in the safer roads team. She stated that their tolerance was 10% + 1. Trying to drive within the speed limit on urban roads generally means a moron driving a BMW will be stuck to your rear bumper, in the stupid assumption it will make you drive faster.
I’ll wave at you on the camera! Remember they don’t all cost the same. Shop around
Cheers mate, didn't know that. I had checked the Humberside site and it said £100. I will look around.
Not entirely on topic but I was stopped for 'jumping' a red light recently, didn't think it was safe to stop at the time and after viewing the footage in the cop car it wasn't conclusive to me on the small screen so I'll ask for a copy. Anyway, afterwards I followed the car through the fantastic roadworks on the A63 where the copper sat happily in traffic surrounded by cars travelling back to Hessle station doing 40 in the roadworks with a 30 limit!
