Lucas is all over that like a rash. Top 3 in every single category. More tackles than Tiote in half as many games aswell. Superb.
I don't think much of Cattermole but Chocolate Tiote must be the softest hard man ever to have played the game.
I was about to mention Lucas, but I see Lucaaas has got there ahead of me As a complete package Yaya Toure is clearly the best. Fellaini is probably second. In terms of defence, Lucas is the best, top tackler 2010/2011 and top in 2011/2012 until his injury.
MONsMush I agree mate, Fellaini is exactly what we could do with. I'm struggling to think of other CM's on the continent that would work as well for us taking PL experience into account and being able to slot straight into a United starting line up. As for Lucas, he certainly has (or did before his injury) come into his own. He is probably hitting a good age for a DM to start showing his true class. I don't like praising the scouser's players too often but credit where it's due.
There's a lot of money to be made from taking a dive in boxing, it could be a lucrative career for Cheik. I just think he is better suited to Hollywood. He could play Mr T in any new film if Rampage is unavailable for starters. And his acting is first class, sausageman took the bait hook line and sinker, and the ref had no choice.
I think what a lot of our fans miss is that a large chunk of the 'Tiote is nails' chuff is tongue in cheek. He is overrated by them up the road, but he is a very, very good player, at what he does. The fact that he looks like a lab experiment gone wrong and is soft as fish **** is incidental...
